Arguments
The BNV is the largest 'general' fair, not only in Hungary but also in the whole of East Europe. The BNV is one of the autumn's most attractive programmes for some 50 000 people each year. The BNV is something very special for Hungarians. The BNV is where all gets together.
The BNV in a NEW form in 2011!
A reNEWed structure of themes
The fair's thematic structure has been simplified and transformed.
World of our Homes: One of the BNV's success stories continues in the autumn. House building, gardening, furniture and everything else that relates to home and its environment.
Women's World: The usual themes with redesigned appearance, tailored especially to women's needs, including fashion, healthy lifestyle, travel, beauty care, cookbooks, baby and mum products, dance and all things 'WOMAN'.
Men's World: Fashion items for men, items involved in sports, fishing, hunting, cars and bikes and a whole lot of other many things.
World of Gastronomy: Hungarian and international cuisine, drinks, restaurants and other specialities in gastronomy.
World of Hungaricums: What the Hungarians give to the world. The first public attendance of the Hungaricum Association.
Whole Wide World: Besides exhibitors from the Far East, countries of the Cetral European region.
NEW thematic days
To boost the number of visitors we have reconsidered the structure of thematic days.
Day 1: 500- forint Day - when a ticket costs HUF 500 for all Day 2: Chick's Day - free entry for ladies Day 3: Guy's Day - free entry for gentlemen Days 4-5: Family Weekend - discount price family tickets, with the Kid's Parade running in paralell
Unconventionally, at a NEW time of year
Unline in previous years, in 2011 the BNV will take place in October. The advantage of holding the event between 19-23 October is that it takes place in a period of the year when there are fewer other organised events in Budapest so attention can even more be focused on the BNV.
NEW programmes and traditional events on offer
What used to be and is again: Kid's Parade: a knowledge disseminating event based on interactive programmes, for kids aged 4-14 and for their parents
What will be for the first time: Fashion show: actual trends, show of fashion brands and a big street fashion show Women's and men's programmes: programmes linked to the thematic days
NEW features in the advertisement campaign
The BNV is promoted with an EUR 300 000 advertisement campaign. For a period of three weeks our ads will appear in leading television channels, we will appear in the most popular women's and men's magazines and in the highest circulation dailies as well as in national radio channels. A one-month intensive outdoor poster campaign will take place. Ww eill put more focus on online appearance than even before, on the most frequented web pages and in the social media as well and the BNV Facebook page will also be launched.
